I am neglectful!

Oh god, I cannot believe I've been neglecting my DA gallery for a LONG time! I guess that's what happens when I spend too much time at FurAffinity.

Did I mention that I quit A&W last November? Yep, I finally did it. No more working at A&W again! It's stressful and the management is horrible!

What I'll miss at A&W:
- working with my favorite co-workers
- giving treats to the dogs at drive-thru
- working in the kitchen, making food
- meeting and talking with regular customers

What I won't miss:
- rude, angry, entitled customers
- the terrible management
- the restaurant owner's daughter (GOD!! I hate her!!)
- the unpredictable work schedule (I constantly kept requesting that I want to work mornings, but NOOO!!!)
- crackheads and drunks that come in at night
- nasty surprises in the washrooms >_<
- staying late at night just because I am a supervisor

Yep, I don't miss working at A&W at all!

When it comes to fandom...

Sorry, I haven't been updating my gallery lately. I've way too busy and been spending too much time at FurAffinity. Anyway, here's my latest rant.

I've had some complaints about fandom in general, but these REALLY gets on my nerves...

"Real [insert fandom here] fans should ONLY like [insert name of popular character here]!!"

Seriously, why should everyone like a character just because he/she is popular? It's really annoying how these type of fantards try to thump you into that just like it's their religion. I also find it hard to believe that they even expected another fan to like that character just because he/she is popular. That's just like "Hey jump off a cliff! Everyone's doing it!" People have different tastes.

Even though a character is VERY popular with fans doesn't mean everyone should like him/her. Not all Inuyasha fans like Inuyasha. Not all Naruto fans like Naruto. Not all Street Fighter fans like Ryu, Ken, or Chun-Li. Got the idea?

"OMG! You suck because you like/hate [insert character here]!!"

Yes, I basically HATE it when other people treated others like crap just because they like or hate a particular character. Sometimes this kind of argument gets out of hand. Uh-oh drama!

Believe me, I've experienced something like this before.

One time, I met this guy in an import game store. Seeing that some customers were looking at my drawings, he asked if he could see them. At first, he said that they all looked good. It was not until he came across a picture of Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei from Darkstalkers. I told him that she is my fave character to draw. Strangely enough, the guy's demeanor changed and said that I shouldn't draw her just because he hated her a lot. He even called all of my drawings crap just because I draw Hsien-Ko. God, I was mad!

Although I am not afraid to admit to hating a particular character, but do I bash other people for liking him/her? Of course not, it's ridiculous and silly!! Yes, while people have their own opinions, they shouldn't take it too seriously.

No, I am not dead...

No, I haven't abandoned my gallery. I've been working a lot lately, so that means I am AWAY from the computers and my artwork. Add to that, I am still looking for another job to replace my position down at A&W.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I've just signed up for Furaffinity nearly a month ago.

I had to warn you that my gallery contains some adult material. However, you had to be a member of that artsite to view them. One of the places I always wanted to display some of my adult stuff, but there are some stuff I always steer clear from (such as *shudders* scat.)

After hearing a lot of BS about SheezyArt, I am glad I didn't sign up there.

I am hoping for a new job

Sorry, I haven't been updating my journal for a while due to (UGH!!) work same goes with the gallery.

God, I HATE my job at A&W (or should I call it Assholes & Whores) because the management is going totally downhill ever since my old manager went on medical leave. My new manager is so stupid for not hiring new hands for the Christmas holidays. Not only that the restaurant owner cared MORE about the money than the well-being of the employees. The scheduling is always screwed up and everybody had to work extra hours. That's why I NEVER have any of my artwork done.

In case you're wondering, I am still looking for another job. I've just got a job interview yesterday and is hoping to get it. I am fed up with working at Assholes & Whores!

I am a Supervisor Now...

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 20, 2006, 1:42 PM
Yep, my manager had promoted me to supervisor last Friday. Ever since I was promoted I am determined not to make the same mistake as one of my last ones.

You see that girl used to be a hard worker long before she was promoted. After she became supervisor, she started slacking off and disappear for a period of time where she was needed the most. She even left people to "fend for themselves" and often left the workplace without telling anyone where she was going. At this one time, the drive-thru had gotten so busy that I had to call that girl for help. As it turned out she was nowhere to be found, leaving me and the only available cook working alone. :frustrated: After a while she showed up with a bunch of grocery bags and it turned out that she had left the place. Man, I was mad at her too. Because supervisors and managers get free food, she constantly gave them to her family and friends (which is, of course, against the rules.) A year as a supervisor passed and then she quit after being engaged to her boyfriend. Many people were really glad to see her go because she is SO freaking lazy!! :pissed:

I haven't heard from that girl for a long time, but I've been told that she still refused to find a job after getting married. Serves her right. Her new husband is also so lazy to find himself a job too.
